2008 Recreational Fishing Awards & Gala Dinner

The USFA was one of three finalists in the award for Excellence in
Recreational Fishing Communication for the USFA Guide to Spearfishing in NSW
and the AUF one of three finalsts for Project of the Year with the Great
Australian Shark Count.

Attending from NSW were Darren Higgins, Adrian Wayne, Mick Rupnik and Mel
Brown with Adam Smith and Chad Lunow from Queensland and Matt Koopman from
Victoria.

For the size of our organization we can take great pride in the fact that
both the USFA and AUF were the winners of their respective categories.
