USFA SUMMER RAFFLE DRAW POSTPONED

The USFA Summer Raffle originally scheduled to be drawn Saturday 25 February 2012 has been postponed to 9 September 2012.

Unfortunately economic and other pressures have resulted in ticket sales being below the required amount. Subsequently more time is required to sell remaining tickets.

We thank supporters and ticket sellers for their effort and contributions and trust that the raffle to raise vital funds to safeguard spearfishers will eventuate in the success intended.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - USFA SUMMER RAFFLE

1. The name of the raffle is the USFA Summer Raffle
2. The organiser is the Underwater Skindivers and Fishermen’s Association (USFA), PO Box 362, Brookvale NSW 2100.
3. The raffle will be drawn at 10.00am on 25 February 2012. The winners will be drawn at random and the draw will be supervised by an independent scrutineer
4. Winners do not need to be present at the draw to win a prize and winners will be contacted by phone or by registered post. Results will be published in Australian Skindivers Magazine and posted on the USFA website.
5. Any prizes unclaimed after three months will be notified to the relevant Offices of Liquor Gaming and Racing and the appropriate steps taken thereafter on advice received.
6. Entry into the raffle is open to all ages and is gained by eligible patrons who purchase authorized USFA Summer Raffle tickets prior to the draw. Tickets will be sold from 7 October 2011 up to the time of the draw. Purchases must be made before the draw is conducted.
7. Subject to satisfying the entry requirement, a patron will receive tickets in the raffle to the value of their outlay. Tickets are to be sold at $2.00 each or 6 tickets for $10.00.
8. The draw will take place at 35 Eggleton St, Blacktown NSW.
9. First Prize is a Brooker 3.95m Aluminum Boat and Galvanised Boat Trailer together valued at approximately $4,400. Second Prize is $250 cash. Third Prize is $200 cash. Fourth Prize is $150 cash. Fifth Prize is $100 cash.
10. The First Prize is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash and the cost of delivery will be the responsibility of the winner although best endeavours will be made to assist the winner in delivery of their prize. Cash prizes will be delivered ex-gratia by registered post in the form of either a money order or cheque. Allow 28 days for delivery of prize.
